Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Information Session

This information session is for prospective candidates interested in the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program at the University of Portland.

Hosted by Associate Dean, Dr. Bruce Weitzel, you will learn more about how this innovative 10-month program prepares individuals for careers as licensed elementary or secondary teachers. This state and nationally accredited program seeks individuals hoping to make a difference in the lives of children, young adults, and families through the belief that every student can be a successful learner: every heart, every mind, every child.

During this one-hour session, you will: 

• Hear more about the MAT program, the curriculum and student teaching. 
• Receive information about the application requirements and admission process. 
• Have an opportunity ask questions about the program, and find out if it is a good fit for you.
