    This information session is for Alberta-based candidates interested in the University of Portland (UP) Masters of Education (MEd) degree program in Edmonton Alberta. The University of Portland has offered the MEd program in Edmonton for over 35 years. The program is designed for educators and leaders who seek to continue building upon professional practice and advance their career, while working full-time. Amaster's degree program in education involves conducting research, analyzing data, and exploring innovative approaches to teaching and learning. The research-oriented focus enables teachers and teacher leaders to contribute to the field of education by generating new knowledge, advancing educational practices, and addressing current challenges in the educational system. Hosted by Edmonton Graduate Programs Site Coordinator, Dr. Konni deGoeij.

    During this one-hour zoom session, you will:

    • Hear more about the University of Portland MEd program in Edmonton, the two-year cohort model, and the education leadership focus.
    • Receive information about the application requirements and admission process for the next cohort in Edmonton (begins September 2024).
    • Have an opportunity ask questions about the program and find out if it is a good fit for you.
